We had good fishing with floating lines; with tube flies being the best weapons.

The river was high all week, and made it difficult get to the fish in same pools.

Top rod of the week was Lionel Young with 13 fish to the net, the biggest 19 lbs.

Donald Maclachlan landed the biggest fish of the week at 22 pounds.
 
Water Conditions:
Water color and visibility: The River was clearing through the week, and the last 3 days was very clear.

Water temperature: 7? – 12? Celsius (45? - 53? Fahrenheit)

Water level: We had high water all week, higher than in November.
 
Weather Conditions:
Wind speed: The wind blew northwest all week, but it wasn't too strong.

Air temperature: 4? - 16? Celsius (39? - 61? Fahrenheit).

Weather observations: Sunny and pleasant all week
 
Fishing Conditions:
Flies that are working the best: Intruders, leeches, and tube flies. Big flies for the last hour, Leeches, and big tube flies. The best flies for the week were tube flies and intruders.
 
Fly lines (tips, heads, lengths, densities, etc.): Skagit heads with different lengths of T-14, T-17,T- 20. We used heavy sink tips, even T-20, up to 15 feet.

Length and strength of tippet and leaders: 3 to 6 feet of 12 to 15 pound mono.
 
Most of the fish were in the middle and upper part of the river, we didn't get many in the lower sections.

Number of anglers for the week: 7.
Total number of fish landed for the week: 66.
Weight of the biggest fish: 22 pounds.
Number of fish landed over 15 pounds: 15.
Number of fish landed over 20 pounds: 2.

Great fishing on top, we got same book fish.

We had a great group from Scottish anglers fish with us this week; good fishermen and great fun. River is in good condition, still dropping and clearing up.

120 fish landed with 13 fish over 15 pounds and 5 over 20.

Top rod was Gordon Armstrong with 22 fish to the net

David Mateer landed the fish of the week, a 24 pounder.

Water color and visibility: Visibility of the water about 2 feet.
Water temperature: 43°F - 50° Fahrenheit
Water level: The River dropped down about 6-7 inches during the week.
 
Weather Conditions:
Wind speed:  Nice weather and not very windy. Cold in the mornings and warm in the evenings
Air temperature ranges through the week: 31° - 62° Fahrenheit
 
Fishing Conditions:
Flies that are working the best: We landed most of the fish on big flies. Leeches, Intruders, Skagit Minnows, and big tube flies.
 
Fly lines (tips, heads, lengths, densities, etc.): We had to fish very heavy heads and tips, 15 feet of T-17, and 15 feet of T-20. The old Rio Big Boys worked well in some pools
