The river was high and dirty the whole week. The water temperature decreased considerably. Air temperature was between 30° F and 61° F. Water temperature was between 37° F and 45° F.
Rods, lines and tips: 6 to 9 weight spey rods. Skagit lines with T-11, T-14 and T-17 in different lengths. MOW tips are a very good choice to use with Skagit. This week 15´ of T-14 and T-17 worked very well.
Flies: We fished mostly with big flies. Big streamers: Wooly buggers, Yuk Bugs, big leeches and Intruders. Big tube flies like Monkeys, Sunray Shadows, Colie Dogs.
